CMAS Proficiency Indicators using MAP Growth Performance
To enable educators to predict student achievement on the Colorado Measures of Academic Progress (CMAS) in Grades 3–8 English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics, NWEA conducted a linking study to derive Rasch Unit (RIT) "cut scores" on the NWEA MAP Growth assessments that correspond to expected CMAS performance levels.
